chest glomma
Scandinavian style oak commode with elements of European walnut
Stable construction made of solid natural oak on metal legs
glomma chest
The construction of the chest appears as the combination of natural, genuine oak wood and four steel legs, which guarantee stability. Frontal parts of the chest were made of solid oak wood, enriched with elements of solid chestnut whose overall looks reminds of waves of Glomma – the longest river in Norway. The whole structure constitutes fully utalitarian furnishing of an interior space, with additional aesthetic values.
Drawers opened with one touch system, which simplifies the utalitarian form of the object, is a distinctive feature of the chest. As Glomma river is constantly exploited by human for a variety of purposes, including timber floating, so is the chest, which serves as a multi – purpose piece of furniture. [L5/114]
