We’re already halfway through summer. The weather in the Tri-City area has been quite varied, though mostly sunny. High temperatures don’t exactly help with concentration at work, but how can we make it more pleasant? After our previous post about setting up a workspace in an office, we’re now scaling things down to the home office.
How to Arrange a Home Office
As I mentioned last time, I work best in silence. A subdued color palette, natural materials, and minimizing their variety help me stay focused. A tried-and-true combination is definitely wood, white, and concrete. This set is universal, tested, and above all, timeless. Adding some greenery also helps, as it’s both relaxing and soothing.
How to Choose Furniture for a Home Office
The foundation of a good work environment is primarily a comfortable desk and chair. As for the desk, I chose the Borcas brand. Their range is wonderful! The desk I picked is very natural, subtle, but above all solidly built. It’s extremely versatile and fits most spaces. In my view, it looks especially beautiful against a concrete background!
A Bookshelf for Your Home Office
The store also offers an interesting bookshelf for this model. Its steel frame has a unique shape and is fitted with wooden shelves, giving it a very Scandi look. It’s perfect not only for a home office or a child’s room but also for the living room.
